The holidays put a damper on viewing numbers.

On Monday, which was Christmas Eve, the repeat of CSI: Miami pulled in 5.81 million viewers in the first half hour, increasing to 6.66 million at 10:30pm. It was number one in overall numbers but number three in the 18-49 demographic (inching up to tie with a special NBC airing of It's a Wonderful Life for the number two spot at 10:30pm) with a 1.5 rating/5 share at 10:00pm, increasing to 1.8/6 at the half-hour. The winner of the vital demographic was ABC's airing of Madagascar.

CSI: New York did not air on its usual night, but there was a repeat on Thursday at 8:00pm as a special lead-in to a repeat of the original CSI. The show earned the top spot in the ratings with 9.57 million viewers and a score of 2.1/7 in the 18-49 demographic.

The CSI: Crime Scene Investigation repeat aired on Thursday built on the New York lead-in and had 10.76 million viewers in the 9:00pm hour to keep CBS in the lead. In the 18-49 demo, CSI also got higher numbers than the special airing of CSI: NY, earning 2.6/7.
