Kid Rock Becomes Murder Suspect On 'CSI: New York'

TV Guide reported earlier this month that singer Kid Rock will appear in an upcoming episode of CSI: New York.

The May 3rd episode will revolve around the murder of a limo driver, and Kid Rock's appearance will be much more than just stunt casting. "This won't be a novelty stunt where he opens the show up and disappears," said CSI creator and New York showrunner Anthony Zuiker.

The rapper will share a few imperative scenes with Gary Sinise's Mac Taylor and will even manage to become the investigator's first suspect. "He's actually an integral part of the forensic mystery," added Zuiker.

Kid Rock began his career at the age of 15, and by 18 he'd already released his first hip hop album Grits Sandwiches For Breakfast. His music has evolved substantially since then and has earned him multiple platinum albums. In this upcoming episode of New York Kid Rock will play himself.
