  • The syndicated entertainment magazine The Insider last week aired a brief behind-the-scenes segment on CSI's "Committed," during which Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) commented on the episode's mental hospital setting. "It's a very dark world and creepy in a horror movie kind of way. [...] There's a little violence there. And that was fun to do too, and scary!"

  • The Los Angeles Times reports that Californian radio personality Petros Papadakis has been cast in the role of a New York sports talk-show host for the CSI: New York episode "The Closer."

  • Australian TV writer Melinda Houston questioned the celebrity value of Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) and the many homegrown Australian stars who attended Down Under's Logie Awards, in an article in the Age.

  • Even if wasn't glamourous enough for The Age, at least Rodriguez was dressed well - the Herald Sun reported he was dressed by Australian fashion label Calibre, as was tennis player Lleyton Hewitt.

  • And again according to the Herald Sun, seventy percent of Australian television viewers would not let their children watch shows like CSI.

  • CBS.com has posted the official synopses for both CSI: New York's "Supply and Demand" and CSI's "Committed."

  • New Sara Sidle avatars are available at the JFO.

  • William Petersen (Gil Grissom) will be attending the Las Vegas Celebrity Golf Event Set organised tomorrow (Sunday) at Caesars Palace. The event, which will benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund, will be broadcast on NBC Sports between 4pm and 6pm Eastern Time. Thanks go out to Elyse for this!

  • The various "CSI Effects" were in full force this week: the Arkansas-based Morning News, Virginia's WVEC, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Abilene-based Optimist all reported on the many people signing up for forensics-themed courses following the success of CSI; the Washington Times cautioned that CSI isn't like real-life police work; a Terre Haute TV station reported on the local police squad getting more like CSI; and finally the Naples News wrote about juries' ever-increasing demands for more forensic evidence.

  • Photos of Adam Rodriguez attending the 2003 post-Super Bowl Playstation 2 party organised by Sony are now available at JustAdam.net.

  • David Caruso Online has new screencaps from CSI: Miami's "Killer Date."

  • The GSR page has two new video clips of the CSI stars speaking about the season finale, in which they say the same things they did in the recent CBS press release.

  • Playing With Fire has posted new screencaps from the original CSI's "4x4."

  • And Erica's Screencaps Page has new images from "Hollywood Brass."

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
