Actress Jorja Fox (Sara Siddle) of CSI recently discussed her take on Liev Schreiber’s role on the show, her website Sara’s romance with Grissom.

“I think Liev Schreiber, who is one of my favorite actors, really has the hardest job in TV in the last 20 years. Not only does he have to come in and fill the space that Billy Petersen is usually in, but he’s got one show to grab everybody. And if he can’t do that, it’s a distinct possibility that viewers will change the channel for the next several weeks. The stories are set up to wrap around his character – he almost becomes the protagonist of the show – so I think there is a danger there,” Fox shares. She explained how hard it must have been for him to come into an established show where everyone communicates with their own language because they’ve been working together for so long. “But for us,” she praises, “he came in with so much passion and enthusiasm, and so much excitement, he was contagious to be around.”

The actress maintains a website filled with her opinions on a number of issues – PETA, clean air, human rights and hurricane relief. She doesn’t use the site as a traditional fansite because she has wonderful people who run sites like that about her. Rather, she uses it as a platform to discuss her opinions. Right now the site covers the Gulf states heavily because she grew up in Florida. Fox would like to update her site weekly, but doesn’t have the time.

Fans of the Grissom / Sara romance needn’t despair in the wake of Grissom’s absence. “I think of Gil and Sara as a tango. It’s slow, and has a tremendous amount of endurance. You haven’t seen the end of Sara and Gil by any means. The idea is to let the dust settle a bit, but we’re gearing up for some stuff at the end of the season that I hope the fans like. We could fall flat on our faces, but the writers are willing to take the risks,” says Fox.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
