CBS has issued official press releases for all three new CSI episodes airing this week.

First up is CSI: Miami's "Fade Out," airing tonight at 10:00pm. Here's how the network described the episode:

The CSIs must investigate when a series of murders have an eerie similarity to an unproduced screenplay. Evidence shows that a series of murders at Miami's hottest clubs are linked to organized crime, but also leads Horatio and the team to a pair of Miami film students whose screenplay mirrors the details of the crimes. Now, the CSIs must track down anyone who had read their fictional script and wanted to turn it into a deadly reality. Meanwhile, Ryan's eyesight worsens and jeopardizes his future with the crime lab.

"Fade Out" was directed by Scott Lautanen, who this season also already helmed Miami's "Felony Flight." The episode was written by Corey Miller, who on his blog already extensively wrote about the episode's development process.

The following actors will be making a guest appearance in "Fade Out:"

  • Ana Alexander as Sienna
  • Chris Batstone as Leo
  • Mike Lane as Officer
  • Matt McColm as Jake Richmond
  • James Russo as Joey Salucci
  • Boti Bliss as Valera
  • Jsu Garcia as Cesar 'Cuzz' Morales
  • Brooke Bloom as Cynthia Wells
  • Zach Grenier as Professor Meyer
  • Austin Nichols as Patrick Wilder
  • Michael Mitchell as Ben Williams
  • Evan Handler as Norman Stein
  • April D. Parker as Dr. Medby

Besides recurring actors Boti Bliss and Brooke Bloom, four other of the above guest stars have a previous connection to the CSI franchise. Ana Alexander played Zoya Pavlova in the first-season CSI: New York episode "Blink," while on that same show and in the same season Zach Grenier appeared as Ross Howell in "ReCycling." James Russo played Sinclair in the fourth-season original CSI episode "Getting Off," and finally Austin Nichols played Adam Walkey in the first-season original CSI episode "Sounds of Silence."

On Wednesday at 10:00pm, you'll be able to watch the final new CSI: New York episode for a while, "Stuck On You." Here's what you can expect from the episode:

Mac, Det. Flack and Dr. Hawkes investigate the death of a model and an injured 20-something billionaire who were both speared by an arrow while hooking up at his party. Stella, who was attending the event as a guest, joins the investigation as the team works to discover who was the intended target--the playboy who is notorious for his conquests, or the model he had just met. Meanwhile, Danny and Lindsay question a multitude of suspects when a music promoter is found dead, coated with glue and covered in the billboard posters of the band he was trying to break out.

Director Jonathan Glassner this season also helmed New York's "Jamalot." "Stuck On You" was written by two people: Eli Talbert ("Dancing With The Fishes") and Timothy J. Lea ("Zoo York," "YoungBlood.")

Below is the full guest cast list for "Stuck On You:"

  • Robert Joy as Dr. Sid Hammerback
  • Ed Quinn as Frankie Mala
  • Jonathan Cherry as James Golden
  • Shelly Cole as Elva
  • Cameron Dye as Damon Runyon
  • C.J. Thomason as Patrick Thompson
  • Gonzalo Menendez as Gus Drood
  • Rochelle Aytes as Sienna
  • Mark Deklin as Rick Smith
  • Kelly A. Ogden as Stephanie O'Dell

Robert Joy and Ed Quinn will both be playing previously established characters. Three of the other guest stars have a previous CSI connection: Cameron Dye, who was Leland Brooks in the original CSI's "Jackpot;" Gonzalo Menendez, who appeared as Clavo Cruz in two episodes of CSI: Miami; and finally Mark Deklin, who appeared as Russel Edge last year in CSI: Miami's "Sex and Taxes."

The final new CSI episode of the week will be shown on Thursday at 9:00pm, when CBS is planning to air CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's "Killer." Here's the episode's official plot synopsis:

In a CSI first, a crime will be shown from the killer's perspective. The CSIs investigate two deaths, both linked to the same suspect. As the evidence starts to overlap, the CSI team begins to move in on the murderer.

"Killer" was directed by Ken Fink, who only a few weeks ago was responsible for "Werewolves," and at the start of the season also helmed "Room Service." The episode's screenplay was written by CSI veterans Naren Shankar and Dustin Lee Abraham, but they based it on a story by Erik Saltzgaber, who is new to the CSI franchise but has previously worked on The Outer Limits.

The following actors will be making a guest appearance on "Killer:"

  • David Berman as David Phillips
  • Louise Lombard as Sophia Curtis
  • Wallace Langham as Hodges
  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson
  • Gerald McCullouch as Bobby Dawson
  • William Sadler as Karl Cooper
  • Susanna Thompson as Janice Cooper
  • Savannah McDermott as Maddy Cooper
  • Stephanie Lemelin as Ally Sullivan
  • Gary Basaraba as Mr. Sullivan
  • Joe Stevens as Nash
  • Travis Wester as Trent Hall
  • Paul Ben-Victor as Joey
  • Cullen Douglas as Manager
  • Raymond O'Connor as Salesman
  • Twink Caplan as Bus Driver
  • Larry Mitchell as Officer Mitchell
  • Paula Francis as Paula Francis
  • Amanda Congdon as Amanda Congdon

Besides recurring actors David Berman, Louise Lombard, Wallace Langham, Archie Kao, Gerald McCullouch, Larry Mitchell and Paula Francis, only one other guest actor has a previous connection to the CSI franchise. That's Joe Stevens, who played Ed earlier this season on CSI: Miami's "48 Hours To Life."

In addition to the above three regularly scheduled episodes, this Saturday at 9:00pm CBS will be repeating the first-season CSI: New York finale "What You See Is What You See." In this episode, while Mac dines at his local breakfast spot, a gunman opens fire, leaving a waitress critically injured and a man dead, and Mac having to choose whether to chase after the suspect or save the life of the young woman. Meanwhile, before the chaos, Mac was approached by a shy patron who awkwardly engaged him in conversation. After feeling that he saved her life during the shoot out, she asks him to join her for a drink and Mac must decide if he is ready to start dating after his wife's tragic death.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
