The franchise airs two new episodes.

Starting out the week on Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT is CSI: Miami's second episode of the season, "Won't Get Fueled Again", and this case is hot:

When gasoline gets so expensive that Miami's residents are literally killing for it, the CSIs come face to face with one of the city's most sadistic crime rings.

This is Matt Earl Beesley's seventh time directing Miami. His most recent turn in the director's chair was for last season's "To Kill a Predator". Writing duo Corey Evett and Matt Partney have written four previous episodes of the show, including "Ambush".

The following actors and actresses will guest-star in "Won't Get Fueled Again":

  • Megalyn Echikunwoke as Dr. Tara Price
  • Jake McLaughlin as Sam Laughlin
  • Aimee Garcia as Andrea Rinell
  • Neil Jackson as Paul Sanders
  • Akie Kotabe as Johnny Young
  • Michael Trotter as Dan Granger
  • Wesley Jonathan as Ross Nelson
  • Anastasia Ganias as Blond Co-ed
  • Georgie Flores as Magdalena Branco

Megalyn Echikunwoke is making her debut as Miami's new coroner, Dr Tara Price. Echikunwoke will be credited as a recurring character for her first few episodes before being bumped to series regular. Jake McLaughlin and Neil Jackson appeared in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "A La Cart". Aimee Garcia has guest-starred on both CSI ("Big Shots") and CSI: New York ("City of the Dolls"). The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: New York will air "Page Turner" on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, and it's a race against the clock for Mac's team:

An urgent search for the cause of a series of deaths by radiation poisoning may ultimately lead to a very deadly volume in the New York City Library.

This is the first time Frederick E.O. Toye has directed for the CSI franchise. Trey Callaway wrote three previous episodes of New York, including last season's "Personal Foul".

"Page Turner" will feature the following guest-stars:

  • Adam Levine as Maroon 5
  • James Valentine as Maroon 5
  • Jesse Carmichael as Maroon 5
  • Mathew Flynn as Maroon 5
  • Michael Madden as Maroon 5
  • Jonathon Trent as Ka Blam
  • Edward Kerr as Joel Paulson
  • Ramon De Ocampo as Lhamo Vadhana
  • Tyler Poelle as Lawrence Wagner
  • Matt Zogaric as Man In Movie
  • Heidi Johanningmeier as Woman In Movie
  • Helena Barrett as Liza Carpenter

Music group Maroon 5 will perform in "Page Turner". Edward Kerr appeared in the Miami episode "One Night Stand". Ramon De Ocampo guest-starred in "Harvest" during CSI's fifth season. Helena Barrett was in the Miami season premiere, "Resurrection", in addition to being a stunt double in several episodes of CSI: NY (including "Fare Game"). None of the other guest-stars have appeared in the franchise before.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will be preempted by the Vice-Presidential debate on Thursday at 9:00pm EST.

"Won't Get Fueled Again" and "Page Turner" begin airing September 29 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
