CBS Monday premiered the promo video for next week Miami's new episode "Recoil."

In this episode, shots are fired outside the courthouse after a custody battle and the CSIs must find the shooter. Bullets fly and the target is the little girl's mother. Horatio goes after the father, who he suspects may not be the girl's biological father after all. However, when the mother's shady past is uncovered, the team finds that she has a lot of enemies who would like to take a shot at her. Meanwhile, Calleigh's father returns to the crime lab for her guidance but for an unexpected reason. "Recoil" was written by Steven Maeda and Marc Dube, and directed by Joe Chapelle.

The 30-second trailer for the episode is now available on the official CBS site. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

BUT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SOLVE THE MYSTERY

[A pair of gloved hands examine evidence, a device found at the scene.]
[Close-up of Ryan as he examines it closely.]
[Someone holds a newspaper in their hands.]

[The bullet hits its target, not a person but a tiny object being held by a mechanical arm.]
[A computer software is used to measure out two bullets used at a crime.]
[It comes out a 96% match.]

UNTIL YOU'VE SEEN HOW IT STARTED

[Same footage of the man who fell down the balcony, only now it's going backwards.]
[Back at the court house, shots begin to go off. Ryan grabs Calleigh and throws her on the ground.]
[The man with the green sweater is shot.]
[A blonde woman is struck as well, she falls to the ground.]
[Ryan is talking to Calleigh when the shots go off.]
[The man wearing the green sweater points his gun at someone.]
[Horatio draws his gun, points, and fires it.]

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
