  • Newsday.com has an article about the onslaught of recent successful television shows set in Vegas. The article notes that CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was the show that started the trend. The article includes a quote from executive producer Carol Mendelsohn, who notes that Vegas "has become more and more a character on CSI."

  • After David Caruso's (Horatio Caine) performance was panned in the New Jersey Star-Ledger, reader Todd Slater wrote in to note that Caruso's (as well as CSI star William Petersen) over-the-top performance and one-liners were essential to the slick atmosphere of the show. "[Caruso's performance] brings to the show an element of subtle campiness that, at least for me, is what makes it so enjoyable," Slater wrote.

  • Gary Sinise's Lt. Dan Band Website has photos up from their June 20th appearance at Joe's Bar in Chicago.

  • William Petersen was interviewed by The Chicago Tribune for an article entitled "Does Baseball Still Matter?" In the article, Petersen talks about his life-long loyalty to the Chicago Cubs.
