CBS last week released the promo video for the new CSI: New York episode "Fair Game."

Mac, Stella and Det. Flack uncover the latest fantasy game sweeping New Yorkers of every class and status -- an assassination game called "water gun wars," where each player receives a pack of photos from an unknown source, and then must track and shoot their targets with a water gun or balloon before another player kills them first. Meanwhile, when a woman (Paula Trickey, The OC) is found dead in her Manhattan apartment, Danny, Sheldon and Det. Maka trace her steps to an exotic cuisine event where the main course includes live centipedes, Brazilian cockroaches, live octopus and fried tarantulas, among other delicacies.

The 30-second promo can now be downloaded at CBS.com. For those of you with slower connections, here's a full transcript of the promo video:

CBS WEDNESDAY

'Fair Game' [Close-up of Detective Flack's face as he pursues someone on foot.]
[We see he's actually chasing after a woman.]
[He continues to chase her feverishly.]
Flack: "Police, stop!"
[But she ignores him and continues to run.]
[Flack doesn't give up.]
[The woman pushes people out of the way as she tries to flee.]

ON A NEW EPISODE OF CSI: NEW YORK

[A man on a bike is her next target. She pushes him to the ground and continues.]
[Close-up of her hands as she reaches into her pockets.]
[A cop stands close by, his gun drawn.]
[Flack catches up to her and cuffs her hands behind her back.]
[He reaches inside her bag and snatches a gun out.]
[He fires it... and water shoots out.]
[Flack stares at the water gun disbelievingly and looks at the girl.]
Flack: "Are you kidding me?"

WATER GUN WAR GAMES

[The same girl is in the front seat of a car. She points a water gun at someone on the back seat and fires.]
[Mac addresses her.]
Mac: "What do you get if you win?"
[The girl answers.]
Girl: "A hundred thousand dollars."
[Mac looks at her, doesn't know how to react.]

TURNS FATAL

'Fair Game' [In a cemetery, a man is standing up, but suddenly falls to the ground, dead.]
[Stella is at the autopsy room.]
Stella: "Someone is killing people for real."
[The camera pans over the body. There are a few gunshot wounds decorating it.]
[A man is questioned by Mac and Flack in the interrogating room.]
Man: "Must be my lucky day."
[Mac pushes the table forward, hitting the man with it on the chest.]
[The man jumps up, surprised.]
Mac: "Think this is a game?"

AND DID NEW YORK'S MOST EXOTIC RESTAURANT

[The New York skyline.]
[A couple of spiders crawl through a surface. A hand snatches one of them.]
[The same person puts the spider in a pan.]
[We're in a kitchen, and the chef is serving bugs and critters on a plate.]
[Next we see a couple of live scorpions, served over a bed of rice.]
'Fair Game' [Hawkes and Danny look on as the cook shows them a plate.]
Cook: "Tonight's event? Creepy crawlers."
[Close-up of the bowl. Around half a dozen centipedes crawl around inside.]

CREATE A RECIPE FOR MURDER?

[Danny grabs one of the bugs.]
[Hawkes watches on as Danny puts the bug in his mouth and eats it.]
Danny: "Killer fed it to her."
[Flashback: a woman is blindfolded, and she's obviously in distress, but is chewing on something.]
[She falls back on her bed as the killer watches on.]
[Danny theorizes.]
Danny: "And watched her die."

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
