  • CSI: New York's Hill Harper (Dr Sheldon Hawkes) co-produced and starred in This is Not a Test, a movie that uses satire to deal with the question of whether the United States is prepared to deal with a major disaster. The movie will be released on DVD January 20, 2009. This is Not a Test also features Harper's CSI: NY costars Eddie Cahill (Don Flack) and Carmine Giovinazzo (Danny Messer). (Source)

  • When Eva La Rue (CSI: Miami's Natalia Boa Vista) met Joe Cappuccio, marriage was the last thing on her mind. "I told him, 'I'm looking for a long-term companion, but I don't see the sense in getting married again,'" the actress shared with People. However, she soon changed her mind. "Within a month or two, we were both on the wedding train," she said. "It just seemed silly not to marry the person you've loved more than anybody."

  • La Rue said all she wanted for Christmas was "one of those gorgeous diamond Charriol bracelets." Her Miami costar Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) is the face of Charriol. "Emily and I are very close and we love going shopping together," La Rue shared. When it comes to New Year's resolutions, La Rue hasn't come up with one yet. As the actress explained, "I try to [be] resolute all throughout the year." (Source: RushPRnews)

  • Casting spoiler ahead!

Stuntman and actor Bryan Friday will appear in an upcoming installment of New York. He'll play the lead villain in the episode airing February 11, and he said it's one of his "biggest" roles to date.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
