Even though the end of the November sweeps is fast approaching, CSI fans will still be able to enjoy new episodes of both CSI: Miami and CSI: New York next week.

First up on Monday at 10:00pm is CSI: Miami's "Shattered." Here's how CBS described the episode:

The team is stunned when Delko is busted for purchasing marijuana. However, as the truth as to why becomes clearer, Horatio must fight to keep Delko at CSI. Meanwhile, after a suspected drug lord is gunned down in his home, evidence leads the CSIs to a dirty bounty hunter whose greed may have gotten in the way of bringing a criminal to justice.

The episode was directed by Scott Lautanen, who this season also already helmed CSI: New York's "Grand Murder At Central Station." Ildy Modrovich, who wrote "Shattered," this season also already worked on "Three-Way."

Below is a list of guest actors appearing in "Shattered:"

  • Rex Linn as Det. Frank Tripp
  • Eva LaRue as Natalia Boa Vista
  • Dex Elliott Sanders as Jay Fisher
  • Jeremiah W. Birkett as Johnny Nixon
  • Armando Valdez-Kennedy as Aaron Peters
  • Paula Jai Parker as Deana Walters/D-Nasty
  • David Lee Smith as Rick Stetler
  • Keith Bogart as I.A.B. Agent #1
  • Joshua Leonard as Jim Markham
  • Brian Bosworth as Duane 'Bull' Merrick
  • Rico McClinton as Corrections Officer
  • Cameron Bancroft as Byron Diller
  • Brendan Fehr as Dan Cooper
  • Boti Bliss as Valera
  • D. David Morin as Doctor Milford
  • Alana De La Garza as Marisol Delko
  • Bellamy Young as Megan West

Besides recurring actors Rex Linn, Eva LaRue, Armando Valdez-Kennedy, David Lee Smith, Joshua Leonard, Brendan Fehr, Boti Bliss, Alana De La Garza, and Bellamy Young, none of the above actors have a previous connection to the CSI franchise.

Two days later, on Wednesday at 10:00pm, CBS is scheduled to air the CSI: New York episode "Jamalot." Here's what you can expect from the episode:

When a game between rival teams, the Manhattan Minx and Brooklyn Clobbers, ends in the murder of the premier skater in the league, the CSIs must discover if her murder was an act of jealousy from one of her teammates or if she was killed by an opposing skater because of her competitive edge. Meanwhile, Danny and Sheldon investigate the death of a gifted writer who is found with the final chapter of his latest novel written on his entire body, leading them to believe that their suspect likely suffers from hypergraphia. Mia Sara guest stars as Cala Winger, victim Griffin Holden's book editor, who reports him missing and seems more concerned with the missing chapter from his manuscript than with his death.

Earlier this season, director Jonathan Glassner already worked on CSI: Miami's "Three-Way." "Jamalot" was written by Andrew Lipsitz, who also wrote "Corporate Warriors" a few weeks ago.

The following actors will be making a guest appearance on "Jamalot:"

  • Robert Joy as Dr. Sid Hammerback
  • Mia Sara as Cala Winger
  • Noa Tishby as Polly Part'em
  • Emma Bates as Birdy of Prey
  • Robert Mailhouse as Stan Vonner
  • Shawn Christian as Coach Ryan Chisholm
  • Eric Lange as Simon Winger
  • Jenna Gering as Layla Vonner
  • David Starzyk as Charles Holden
  • Derek Hughes as John
  • Cameron Goodman as She Hate Me/Rose
  • Matthew Frauman as Eddie Jones
  • Tony Pasqualini as Dr. Brandon Hardy
  • Shanti Wintergate as Hallie On Wheels
  • Joshua Dov as Griffin Holden

In contrast to this week's Miami episode, almost all of the actors appearing in "Jamalot" already have a previous connection to the CSI franchise, including recurring actor Robert Joy. Noa Tisby played Gloria Tynan / Gina Cusack in the first-season Miami episode "Double Cap," while Robert Mailhouse appeared on that show last year in "Game Over," playing Dave Strong. Shawn Christian was Patrick Haynes / Chad Matthews in the first-season original CSI episode "Table Stakes," and Eric Lange appeared as Kenny Bristol in last year's "Formalities," another episode of the original CSI. Jenna Gering played Alison Scott in the second-season CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Scuba Doobie-Doo," and finally David Starzyk appeared in the third season of that show as Fred Stearns, in the episode "Got Murder?"

On Thursday, it will be the first of December, and as if by clockwork, CBS will be airing a rerun: this year's season premiere, "Bodies In Motion." In that episode, the forensic teams come back together under the leadership of Grissom and Catherine just in time to tackle three complex murder cases. Grissom and Catherine lead the team as they tackle three separate investigations: a murdered couple found in bed in a suspicious trailer explosion; a beautiful stripper discovered dead and dumped in the worst part of town; and two bodies found baked and decomposed after spending five days in the trunk of a car exposed to the hot Vegas sun, forcing the CSIs to "wrap" up the evidence and bring it back to the lab for further analysis.
