The franchise offers two new episodes this week.

On Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Miami will air a repeat of "Stand Your Ground" from last season. Calleigh was forced to defend herself by firing at the driver of a car that was racing toward her. The car veered into a store, and when a woman's body was found beneath the car, the team had to determine whether Calleigh was responsible for her death.

CSI: New York gets adventurous on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT in "The Cost of Living":

While investigating the death of a young archaeologist who may have unearthed the answer to one of New York City's oldest murder mysteries, the CSIs discover anything can be purchased on the Internet, even someone else's life.

Rob Bailey has directed 21 previous episodes of New York, including the season premiere, "Veritas". "The Cost of Living" was written by John Dove, who has penned five other episodes. His latest writing credit was for "Taxi".

The following actors and actresses have guest-starring roles in "The Cost of Living":

  • Chad Faust as James Sutton
  • Katie Cleary as Jessica Redi
  • Emrhys Matthew Cooper as Vincent Wright
  • Tania Raymonde as Laura Roman
  • Victor Togunde as Wolford Bessie
  • Adoni Maropis as Large Man/Diakos
  • Joshua Snyder as Matt Henson
  • Paul Papadakis as George Kolovos

Katie Cleary previously appeared on New York in the season five premiere, "Veritas". Chad Faust appeared in two episodes of CSI: Miami, "High Octane" and "Backstabbers". The other actors are new to the franchise.

On Thursday, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation discovers it's a family thing in "Let it Bleed" at 9:00pm ET/PT:

During the course of an investigation, the CSIs discover that their victim, a young woman who was murdered and found with several different blood types in her system, is the daughter of a wanted criminal.

This is Brad Tanenbaum's second turn in the director's chair after season seven's "Lab Rats". Corinne Marrinan has worked as an associate producer on all three CSI series, but this is her first time writing for CSI.

"Let it Bleed" features the following guest-stars:

  • Nicholas Turturro as Goya
  • Jason Lewis as Craig Hess
  • Alex Carter as Det. Vartann
  • Sheeri Rappaport as Mandy Webster
  • Kay Panabaker as Lindsey Willows
  • Carlos Alazraqui as Officer Brady
  • Alex Meneses as Emelina Carlos
  • Nicole Paggi as Sylvie Thornton

  • Alexandra Willers as Angelica Carlos
  • Giuseppe Andrews as Joe
  • Randolph Adams as Zombie Butcher
  • Larry Mitchell as Officer Mitchell
  • Anadel Baughn as Convenience Store Clerk
  • Nicole Malgarini as Donut Dolly

Sheeri Rappaport, Alex Carter, Kay Panabaker and Larry Mitchell are reprising established recurring roles. Jason Lewis appeared in the CSI: Miami episode "Grand Prix". Alex Meneses was also on Miami, guest-starring in "Rio". Nicole Paggi has been on CSI ("Let the Seller Beware") and Miami ("MIA/NYC Nonstop"). Alex Solowitz appeared in the Miami premiere, "Resurrection". Nicole Malgarini had an uncredited role in the CSI: NY episode "Not What it Looks Like".

The repeat of "Stand Your Ground", "The Cost of Living" and "Let it Bleed" begin airing October 27 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
