Hill Harper (Dr. Sheldon Hawkes) recently revealed to CBS his favorite thing about his CSI: New York persona.

"What I love about him most is that, you know, extensively he's the smartest guy on the show," he said. "He's the doctor, he's the guy that everyone comes to for answers about the body about the information. But there are also a lot of idiosyncrasies about Dr. Hawkes - he's in the morgue but now we see him out of the morgue much more, so it's an interesting interplay. I'm anxious to see how he's going to evolve."

The anxiety, however, does not extend to the set, as Hill admitted the production flows flawlessly. "The atmosphere on any set starts from the top down. So Gary [Sinise] (Mac Taylor) and Anthony [Zuiker], they set a tone, and then everyone else has to follow suit. And since Gary comes out of the theatre he has respect for every type of actor, whether it's someone who has one line or no lines. He sets a wonderful tone."

"We've just been having a great time," he said, regarding the relationship between cast and crew. "I think the chemistry's wonderful, and I think that out of all the shows on TV we got about as good a cast as anybody. So CSI: New York - we're hitting home runs as far as the acting side, and I love that."

Additionally, Harper was recently voted one of the sexiest men alive by People Magazine, something he hopes betters his social life. "It has had an impact on my life in the sense that it makes it easier for me to get dates now," the actor joked. "You know, I can whip that out and show a girl the thing and maybe she'll go out with me now. But Jude Law is still on the cover, so that means I'm not as sexy as him, right?"

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
