  • Dark Light: The Art of Blind Photographers, the short documentary co-produced by CSI: Crime Scene Investigation writer Corinne Marrinan, has been extended through August 31. The documentary is playing at Laemmeles Town Center 5 in Encino, California. It airs at 1:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and 4:00pm from Friday through Monday.   • The episode of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva that featured former CSI star Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), as well as Tim Gunn and Elliott Gould, earned the show its highest ratings for the season so far. The episode averaged more than 3 million total viewers (16% above the season average), and it also scored its highest ratings to that point among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54. (Source)

  • Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine described how the band ended up in the CSI: New York episode "Page Turner". "Oh, it happened in a very un-interesting way," he told Female First. "It just came up and we said yeah! I know that doesn't sound very exciting, I can't make up an exciting story for it." In the scene, a fight broke out and police began firing bean bags. One of the concert-goers died, leading to the investigation. "Yeah, I'm glad we didn't have to die on the show," Levine said, "although that would have been fun!"
