Horatio is helping Suzie, the mother of his brother's child, look for an apartment, when he hears gunshots outside the real estate office. Rushing to the scene, he discovers a robbery in progress. Two men have overtaken an armored bank truck and stolen 3.2 million dollars out of it. Horatio shoots one of the robbers as the other flees the scene in a van in the upcoming episode, "Money for Nothing."

CSI Files sources revealed details for CSI: Miami's seventeenth episode of its sophomore season. Horatio's shot killed the robber, Diego Valdez. He questions one of the two drivers of the armored bank car, Paul Donlan. The other driver, John Klauser, was killed by the robbers. Paul is devastated by John's death, but manages to tell Horatio that there was a tracker in each bag of money.

Horatio asks Yelina to contact the bank the money came from and two get an ID on the two bags that were stolen. Yelina also delivers a message from Suzie, who wants her to let Horatio know that the apartment hunting can wait. This leads to an awkward moment between Horatio and Yelina.

The CSIs track down Doug Walsh, who participated in the armored car robbery along with Valdez. But the 3.2 million Doug Walsh stole turns out to be fake money. So where is the real cash?

The robbery turns out to be much more elaborate than anyone first thought. The real 3.2 million was exchanged for counterfeit cash. This leads the CSIs to suspect it's an inside job...

"Money for Nothing" will likely air in the spring of 2004.

CSI Files sources have recently revealed changes to the plot details of the sixteenth episode of CSI: Miami's second season, "Slash & Burn", which is now called "Slow Burn". As previously reported by CSI Files, the episode centers murders in the Florida Everglades.

Though the death of the hunter is unchanged, the ranger Alexx and Delko meet with is now a man named Rick Cuthbert. The second murder victim is now a young blonde woman, instead of a couple. The discovery of her body leads Horatio to Dale Stahl, who the CSIs believe picked up the young woman in his car when she was hitchhiking, shortly before her death. He swears he isn't behind it. Could it be her boyfriend?

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
