Ratings Round-Up

The final member of the franchise to air its season finale beats the competition.

On Monday, the season finale of CSI: Miami came in first with 14.02 million viewers and a 3.8 rating/11 share in the 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers. The season premiere of The Bachelorette was second with 8.03 million viewers and an 18-49 score that went from 3.0/2 to 2.8/8 at the half-hour. Medium was last with 6.50 million viewers and 1.9/5.

Criminal Minds aired a two-hour season finale from 8:00-11:00pm on Wednesday. During the 10pm hour, Minds earned the top spot by pulling in 15.17 million viewers and 3.8/10 in the key demo.

A repeat of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation came in first in overall viewers on Thursday with 9.64 million, beating out the second half of a two-hour premiere of So You Think You Can Dance (9.14 million), the season finale of Ugly Betty (6.38 million), a repeat of Grey's Anatomy (3.61 million), NBC's combination of The Office (3.28 million) and 30 Rock (3.19 million) and a repeat of Supernatural (1.29 million). In the 18-49 demographic, Dance came out on top with 3.7/11 for its second hour. CSI tied Betty for second with 1.9/6. NBC's combo was fourth with 1.4/4 for Office and 1.3/4 for Rock, and Supernatural rounded out the hour with 0.5/1.

Now that the traditional season is over, CSI Files will no longer be posting ratings information each week. The Ratings Round-Ups will return in September.
