  • According to Variety, CSI: Miami beat its competition on Monday night's ratings battle. The show's season finale, "10-7," was watched by 20.5 million viewers overall and received a 7.1/18 in the 18-49 age demographic. NBC's Medium came in second with 11.9m viewers, and ABC's special, Nick & Jessica: Tour of Duty, came in third with 6.1 million viewers overall. A full ratings report will be posted by the end of the week.

  • Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) will this year attend the Decibel Film and Music Festival in the island of Trinidad. The festival showcases upcoming artists and is attended by international artists, investors, and producers.

  • If you're a fan of Television Without Pity's snarky reviews, head over to the CSI Section and read Sobell's review of "Grave Danger." TWoP gave the episode a B-, while visitors gave it an A-.

  • Skip O'Brien (Det. Ray O'Riley) this weekend was a volunteer at the Tri-Valley Special Olympics in Glendale, California. The Special Olympics is a training and athletic competition for more than one million children and adults with intellectual disabilities and closely associated developmental disabilities.   • This summer, Miami will have a new lead in: reality series Rock Star: INXS. Hosted by Brooke Burke and Dave Navarro, the reality series will see a worldwide search for the new lead singer of the Australian rock group INXS. Rock Star: INXS will air Monday nights at 9pm on CBS. For more information, visit Reality TV World.

  • It's been a brutal season for television characters all around primetime land. USA Today recently profiled Miami's Tim Speedle as one of the characters who is gone but definitely not forgotten.

  • Tonight, instead of airing CSI: New York, CBS will air the television movie i>Amber Frey: Witness for the Prosecution. The newspapers Chicago Sun Times, New York Daily News, and Boston Globe all reviewed the movie, but none found it very enjoyable. Amber Frey: Witness for the Prosecution will air tonight at 9 on CBS.

  • Aisha Tyler (Mia Dickerson) recently landed in Maxim's Hot 100, a list of the most successful (and beautiful) women of the year in film, television, music, sports and fashion. Tyler came in #72. Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria stole the #1 spot.

  • CBS recently launched the official website for the upcoming series Ghost Whisperer. The series stars Jennifer Love-Hewitt as Melinda Gordon, a woman who's able to communicate with ghosts. CSI's Aisha Tyler snagged the role of Andrea Moreno, Melinda's best friend. Ghost Whisperer will be shown this upcoming fall on Fridays at 9pm.

  • The Jonathan Togo Online Image Gallery has been updated with screen caps of the episode "Whacked." The images center around Jonathan Togo's character, Ryan Wolfe.

  • Singer Ashanti recently professed not only an interest in forensic science, but also in portraying a coroner on CSI, in case ME Sheldon Hawkes ever makes it to the field. "If you can cut someone's stomach open and see the peas and they haven't digested and that can tell you what time they died, I'm amazed by that," she said.

  • Robert C. Shaler, director of the Department of Forensic Biology at the New York City medical examiner's office, recently defended CSI's fast-paced cases. "CSI has to create a program that's going to be interesting, so they take liberties with the science. ... But the idea is the same. You do a DNA test, you get the answer and it tells you something. They condense the reality of it but they are asking the right questions."

  • Screen caps of "Whacked" can also be found at the David Caruso Online Gallery. The website has also been updated with images from the episodes "Grave Young Men," "Dead Woman Walking," "Evidence of Things Unseen," and "One Night Stand."

  • Fans of the CSI PC game Dark Motives can now pre-order the Mac version of the game through Aspyr Media or Macgamestore.com. The game, which promises to include better graphics and more complicated cases, will otherwise be available in June.

  • Just Adam.net has been updated with screen caps of the episodes "Whacked" and "10-7." The images focus mainly on Adam Rodriguez's character Eric Delko.

  • Screen caps of the New York episodes On The Job, The Closer, and "What You See Is What You See" are now available at Past My Shoulder.

  • CSI is spiking a lot of interest in Northeast Georgia, where more and more students are contacting their local police department to inquire about the career. "I get about 15 to 30 e-mails a month and three or four phone calls from people. There's a lot of interest and it really started when CSI hit the television," said Sgt. David Leedahl with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department’s Forensic Unit.

It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
