The Las Vegas crime lab will have to tackle one of their most confrontational cases when police officers are murdered during the Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup.

TV Guide recently released the below synopsis of this week's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "Dead Ringer":

Grissom discovers the dead body of a Los Angeles cop in the desert during a nighttime 120-mile relay race for police officers and the investigation turns up signs of foul play. Back at the hotel where the officers are staying, two more bodies are found in what appears to be a murder-suicide between male and female cops who may have been lovers. But Warrick and Sara believe it may be a double homicide.

"Dead Ringer" was penned by consulting producer Elizabeth Devine, who co-wrote "After the Show" and provided the story for "Early Rollout". One of CSI's most experienced directors, Ken Fink ("Homebodies"), helmed the episode.

The episode's guest cast includes the following actors:

  • Wallace Langham as David Hodges
  • Romy Rosemont as Jacqui Franco
  • David Berman as David Phillips
  • Alex Carter as Detective Vartan ("XX", "Eleven Angry Jurors")
