CBS Wednesday released the 30-second promotional video for "The Fall," the new CSI: New York episode airing next week.

In "The Fall," Danny and Aiden investigate the death of an influential movie producer found dead on the canopy of his Chelsea apartment building. Meanwhile, when young gang members murder the owner of an upscale Bronx wine store, the rest of the CSI team must work to find evidence that ultimately ties someone to the crime. Before dying, the store owner makes a statement to police identifying his attackers as young gang members. Tempers flare when the murder investigation reunites Detective Flack with his long-time mentor and friend Sergeant Gavin Moran, who was the first to arrive at the crime scene.

WEDNESDAY

[Danny gets out of a patrol car at a nighttime crime scene.]

A MOVIE MOGUL ON TOP

[Flashback shot of a movie starlet spinning around.]

[Flashback: A fat studio boss shouting at someone.]

[Flashback: The starlet looks intimidated.]

Starlet: "I'd rather wait tables than get on that casting couch.]

[The starlet looks contemptuous.]

[Stella nods.]

TAKES A FALL

[Flashback: With a scream, the movie mogul is thrown off a balcony.]

[Flashback: His arms spin wildly as he falls down.]

[Flashback: A tud as his head hits the canopy.]

[Danny is interrogating a witness.]

Danny: "Are there any people that might have had a problem with your husband?"

[A mobile elevator brings Danny and a police officer up to the canopy.]

[The mogul's wife nods.]

Mogul's Wife: "Definitely."

[Danny reaches for a pen.]

Danny: "You got a name?"

Mogul's Wife: "You got a pad?"

[Danny is a little overwhelmed.]

AND

[Flashback: a scared wine store owner raises his hands.]

[Flashback: One hooded gangbanger instructs his friend.]

Gangbanger: "Blast that fool!"

[Security camera shot: A gangbanger shoots at the camera.]

[We hear the sound of someone laughing maniacally.]

A COLD-BLOODED KILLING

[Stella takes a photo of the crime scene.]

[Photo: the store owner lying in a pool of blood and wine.]

[Photo: Close-up of the man's face.]

[Flashback: one of the gangbanger's raises his gun.]

[Mac surveys the crime scene.]

Mac: "Vic was running for his life."

[Flashback: the store owner tries to get away.]

[In a dark alley, Flack points his gun at a suspect trying to escape.]
