The franchise offers two new episodes this week.

On Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Miami will deal with a potentially overzealous cop in "Power Trip":

When a savage killer runs rampant in Miami, Horatio must intervene to stop a member of the police force from getting too close to the case.

Joe Chappelle has directed 21 previous episodes of Miami, including "Wrecking Crew" from earlier this season. "Power Trip" was co-written by Corey Evett and Matt Partney. The writing duo has penned five previous episodes of the show, the most recent being "Won't Get Fueled Again".

The following actors will guest-star in "Power Trip":

  • Boti Bliss as Maxine Valera
  • Shanna Collins as Jessica Chilton
  • Jamie Thomas King as Dennis Chilton
  • Malik Yoba as Reggie Wallace
  • James Urbaniak as Max Purdue
  • Courtney Hope as Kathy Meyers
  • J. P. Pitoc as Tim Erickson
  • Naya Rivera as Rachel Torres
  • Tanner Blaze as Billy

Boti Bliss is reprising her established recurring role. J. P. Pitoc was in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Revenge Is Best Served Cold". The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: New York will unravel a twisted mystery in "The Box" on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When an unidentified body is discovered inside a crushed car, the CSIs must extract the bones in order to identify the victim and catch a predator.

This is the eighth time Oz Scott has directed for New York. His most recent turn in the director's chair was for last season's "Commuted Sentences". Bill Haynes, a technical advisor for the show, has also written 6 episodes, including "Playing With Matches". Haynes co-wrote "The Box" with executive producer Peter Lenkov, who has written 15 previous episodes of New York. Lenkov's most recent writing credit was for "Hostage", the season four finale.

The episode will feature the following guest-stars:

  • Emmanuelle Vaugier as Det. Jessica Angell
  • Kevin Weisman as Mike Hess
  • Joe Egender as Billy Marks
  • Guy Nardulli as Wrecking Yard Worker
  • Lisa Darr as Andrea Warren
  • Jon Gries as Jim Warren
  • Erin Cardillo as Tammy Barker
  • Marcus Chait as Steve Barker
  • Michael Kenneth Williams as Reggie Dupar
  • Alaina Huffman as Lori Winston
  • Jonna Walsh as Nicole Harris
  • Flaco Navaja as Street Vendor

Emmanuelle Vaugier is back as Detective Jessica Angell. Lisa Darr appeared in the CSI episode "Gentle, Gentle" during the show's first season. Michael Kenneth Williams also guest-starred on CSI, in "Hollywood Brass". Marcus Chait was in the Miami episode "Speed Kills". Alaina Huffman was also on Miami, guest-starring in "Raging Cannibal" earlier this season.

Thursday is Thanksgiving Day for the United States, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will air a repeat of "Grissom's Divine Comedy" at 9:00pm ET/PT. The team was called in to investigate when several key witnesses for a grand jury case were killed before they could testify against a dangerous gang.

"Power Trip", "The Box" and the repeat of "Grissom's Divine Comedy" begin airing November 24 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
