The CSI: Crime Scene Investigation team will tackle three steaming hot cases in tonight's episode, aptly titled "Feeling The Heat".

TV Guide describes the episode as follows:

Catherine investigates the death of a baby who was left inside a locked car on a steamy day; Nick and Sara examine a lakeside scene where a young woman's body was found washed ashore; Warrick tries to determine whether a man found dead in a sweltering house was the victim of an accident or foul play.

"Feeling the Heat" was written by CSI creator and executive producer Anthony Zuiker and co-producer Eli Talbert. Veteran CSI helmer Kenneth Fink ("Playing With Fire") directed the episode.

The guest cast includes the following actors:

  • Ryan Starr as Sophia
  • Stacy Edwards as Linda
  • Cam Gigandet as Mark
  • Rick Ravanello as Stone
  • James Leo Ryan as Morris
  • Paula Newsome as Evelyn
  • Wallace Langham as David Hodges
  • David Berman as David Phillips
  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson

Ryan Starr is probably best known for her performances on American Idol: The Search for a Superstar. She advanced to the finals with ten other contestants and came in seventh place overall. Starr's acting credits include a guest appearance on What I Like About You and a part in the TV film Boyz II Death.

Stacy Edwards played Dr. Lisa Catera on Chicago Hope for two seasons and has also been seen in Without a Trace and The Fugitive. Cam Gigandet is not listed on the Internet Movie Database.

Rick Ravanello has appeared in Boomtown, The Lyon's Den and Without a Trace, while James Leo Ryan's credits include Charmed, Six Feet Under and The District. Paula Newsome has made guest appearances on ER and The Guardian.

Wallace Langham, David Berman and Archie Kao are all recurring CSI faces. Langham and Kao have been appearing as lab technicans David Hodges and Archie Johnson since season three, while David Berman first popped up as assistant coroner David Phillips in the early days of season one.

"Feeling The Heat" will air at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
