'Feeling the Heat' image - copyright CBSCBS recently debuted the trailer for tonight's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "Feeling The Heat".

In the episode, the team are called out to investigate three heat-related scenes: the death of a young woman out on the lake; a baby found locked in a car; and a man found dead in his furnace-like house.

The 30-second trailer is available for download online from the official CBS web site. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

CBS THURSDAY

[Establishing shot of the sun beating down on the desert.]
[Grissom and Warrick find themselves investigating a dead man slumped in his armchair.]
Grissom: "It's hot in here."
[Warrick takes photos of the victim.]
Warrick: "You think?"

WHEN THE TEMPERATURE RISES IN LAS VEGAS

[Split screen: two shots of the sun beating down meet in the middle of the screen. Insert: a sweaty Catherine wearing a ponytail.]
[Shot of Catherine back in the lab.]
Catherine: "Horrible things can happen, especially in this heat."
[People mill around a jetty beside a lake.]
[Nick and Sara bend over a dead body.]

SO DOES THE CRIME RATE

[Split screen: Grissom in one half, Sara and Nick in the other.]
[Text: 'TV's Most-Watched Show']
[Nick and Sara climb up a hill.]
Nick: "If the evidence isn't up here..."
[They stare down over the edge of a cliff.]
[Extreme close-up of a woman falling into water.]
[Nick stands on the edge, peering down.]
Nick: "...it's down there."
[A young couple are happily riding a jetski on the lake.]
Sara: "Boy meets girl..."
[Sara talks to Nick.]

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
