David Caruso (Horatio Caine) recently revealed that while his character feels a great deal of emotion at seeing his long lost brother again, in tonight's CSI: Miami season finale he'll have to put aside his feelings in order to solve a highly personal case.

"There's a very complicated mix of emotions because on the one hand, [Raymond's] the closest person in the world to me, on the other hand, we're all a little upset with him," Caruso told the syndicated entertainment magazine The Insider for a feature that will air tonight. "[He] reappears, and of course there are all sorts of feelings connected to that. But because of the nature of the episode, he and I can't deal with it because he and I are under the gun to handle another situation which involves [Raymond Jr.]"

Caruso added that he liked the way the return of Raymond Caine was handled. "It's been so beautifully laid into the legacy of the show," he said. He also sounded pleased with the casting of Dean Winters, calling him "great" and a "perfect actor." In fact, Winters turned out to be so committed to the role that he almost wore a wig to match Caruso's trademark red hair -- but Caruso didn't seem very surprised by that. "Well, you can understand that. Everybody wants red hair," he joked. "All grown men should have bright red hair."

As for Winters, he sounded equally pleased to be able to work with Caruso, of whom he said he'd been a fan for a long time. The actor refused to give away any story details, but did say viewers will be in "for a nice surprise" when they watch tonight's finale. And Winters hinted that "10-7" might not be the only time he'll be on CSI: Miami. "Whenever a character comes in like I do, you never really know where it's going to go," he said. "I might have to come back."

More from Caruso and Winters, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage from the CSI: Miami season finale, can be found in tonight's edition of The Insider. To find out when the show will air in your area, as well as to watch a short video excerpt, head over to the Insider web site. Thanks go out to Carol at the David Caruso Message Board for this!

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
