The franchise offers two new episodes this week.

CSI: Miami gets personal on Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT when the team makes a shocking discovery in "Target Specific":

A home invasion becomes much more when the team finds out they're being targeted by the Russian mob.

The episode was directed by Sam Hill, who has helmed 17 previous episodes. His latest turn in the director's chair was for "Sink or Swim". Tamara Jaron has written three episodes of Miami, including "Head Case" from earlier this season.

The following guest stars will appear in "Target Specific":

Christopher Redman is reprising his established recurring role in the lab. Andrew Divoff is back as Ivan Sarnoff, who previously appeared in "Raging Cannibal" and "And They're Offed". Steven Brand was in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Crow's Feet", and Joe Manganiello was in "Daddy's Little Girl". The other guest stars are new to the franchise.

On Wednesday, CSI: New York faces a "Communication Breakdown" at 10:00pm ET/PT:

When a Native American chief is shot on the subway, the CSIs struggle to translate which one of the several foreign suspects may have caused his death.

This is the first time John Keris has directed an episode of New York. Trey Callaway has five writing credits for the show, most recently for "The Triangle".

The following actors and actresses will appear in guest-starring roles:

Emmanuelle Vaugier is back as Detective Jessica Angell. Sam Page appeared in the Miami episode "Prey", and Kavi Ladnier was in "Smoke Gets in Your CSIs". The rest of the guest stars are making their first appearance in the franchise.

On Thursday, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will be preempted for the second week in a row while CBS airs the regional semifinals of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

"Target Specific" and "Communication Breakdown" begin airing March 23 on CBS.
