CBS recently published official information on next week's episodes of CSI: Miami and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Synopses, creative staff and guest cast listings for CSI: Miami's "Invasion" and CSI's "Getting Off", are available courtesy of TV Guide and Yahoo! TV.

"Invasion"

Airdate: February 23, 2003
Directed by: Felix Alcala
Written by: Jonathan Glassner & Brian Davidson

Felix Alcala has directed for numerous prime-time television series, including NYPD Blue, Third Watch and The Shield. In 1995, he was nominated for a Directors Guild of America award for helming the ER episode "The Gift". His only previous CSI credit is "One Hit Wonder".

Consulting producer Jonathan Glassner, previously of Stargate SG-1, co-wrote "Big Brother" and "Blood Moon". Brian Davidson is Miami's script co-ordinator; this is his first credited episode.

Here's how TV Guide describes the episode:

A former surfing star is shot and abducted, his wife bound and their son beaten during a break-in at their plush home. The investigation reveals that some valuable antique statues were taken. It also turns up drugs in the house, which are ready for street sale.

"Invasion" features the following guest actors:

  • Sofia Milos as Detective Yelina Salas
  • Lindsay Frost as Joanne (Marjorie Westcott in "The Accused is Entitled")
  • Brian Patrick Clarke as Ted (Judging Amy, ER)
  • Douglas Smith as Jason (Blast From The Past)

  • Laurence Mason as Maurice (Behind Enemy Lines, Ali)

TV Guide's synopsis is as follows:

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
