  • Several actors from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation answered the Philadelphia Inquirer's question: "Who do you like in the Super Bowl?" Liz Vassey (Wendy Simms), replied, "Men in football pants." Wallace Langham (David Hodges) said he isn't into the sport. "I don't care at all about football," he explained. "I go to my friend's house and make fun of whoever's playing at the halftime show." Costar Paul Guilfoyle (Jim Brass), however, gave a serious answer. "The Philadelphia Eagles," he said. "I like them to go all the way. They're a little bit like our show. Kind of a wise guy in charge, Donovan McNabb, and a bunch of hard workers."

  • The "Running of the Brides", which was portrayed in the CSI: New York episode "Help", is a real event. One such bridal sale took place on January 17 in Everett, Washington.

  • Marg Helgenberger (CSI's Catherine Willows) described attending the inauguration for President Barack Obama as "emotional" and "exhilarating". (Source: ET Online)

  • DJ Elliott's role as the assistant wrestling coach in this week's episode of New York, "Rush to Judgment", was his first major network gig. He was excited:

The first one is the hardest to get. It's big for a couple of reasons. First, it's major network TV and second now all the other casting directors in town can see you. They can critique your role and see that you handled the work, you were professional and maybe next time they have a part you might get a chance to read for a part. I'm hoping this leads to some other things.

The original quote is from The Paper.

  • CSI: NY star Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera) was one of the celebrities that visited the Kari Feinstein's 2009 Style Lounge at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards to try "Opalescence Trèswhite Supreme" tooth whitener. Proceeds from the lounge went to support the Visual Impact Now organization, which helps underprivileged kids get access to eye examinations and eye care. (Source)

  • Spoiler alert!

Mega Buzz reported an upcoming development for Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay Monroe (Anna Belknap) on New York. Executive Producer Peter Lenkov confirmed that the pair would be getting married in an upcoming episode.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
