CBS has released the promo for the new CSI:New York episode “The Lying Game.”

In this episode, when a transgender showgirl is drowned in a restroom at a five-star hotel, the CSIs investigate if the killer was surprised to discover the performer’s secret and committed murder as a result.

The 30-second promo can now be downloaded at CBS.com. For those with slower internet connections, a full transcript of the promo video follows:

[Danny holds a ringing cell phone.]

[A female voice answers the phone: “Sendire Meditation Center. May I help you?”]

[Close-up on Mac.]

[A young black woman wears a telephone headset.]

[A black board shows the status of various calls in white block lettering.]

[Voice over: “Imagine a company that creates alibis.”]

[A room filled with cubicles; people man the phones.]

[Mac and Danny enter the room.]

[Flack: “Check out the size of her feet.”]

[Simultaneous voice and text over: “This hot …”]

[Close-up on Hawkes: “And hands.”]

[A woman’s face is seen from the bottom of a toilet bowl.]

[Voice over (cont.): “Dying can be a real drag.”]

[Stella photographs the bathroom stall crime scene.]

[Hawkes and a medic carry the dead woman out of the bathroom.]

[Hawkes: “Our Jane Doe is heavier than she looks.”]

[Flack peeks under the woman’s short skirt.]

[Flack: “Better make that a John Doe.”]

[Off Stella’s surprised face.]

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
