Grissom and the team will have to find out who shot a young man at a millionaire's party in the CSI episode "Kiss-Kiss, Bye-Bye."

Lois O'Neill, one of Las Vegas's most influential women, is having a lavishing party at her home. Her guests are the city's crème of the crème – politicians, celebrities, casino moguls - even Mr. Sam Braun, otherwise known as Catherine Willows's father and owner of various casinos, has made an appearance. Lois's party is turning out to be a success, the year's grand event, that is until one of her guests, Tim Duke, is found dead in her bedroom.

The CSI team crashes the party to investigate Duke's death. The young man has been shot twice, and Lois admits she was in the bedroom when it happened. The unknown assailant shot Duke, she tells the CSIs, and terrified, Lois crawled under one of her fur coats for protection. The assailant then crawled out the window and escaped into the night. Lois believes whoever shot Duke was trying to kill her instead, but whom? Everyone who made an appearance at the party becomes an instant suspect.

Grissom talks to Li'l' Bratt, a rapper who is giving out a concert that very night. Bratt isn't too happy about being on hold, and when Grissom politely asks her to show him the contents of her purse she goes on a rampage. Bratt has a good reason to protect her purse – inside, Grissom finds a crack pipe. Brass and Sofia interrogate Bratt and theorize the woman was trying to buy crack from Duke, and shot him at his refusal. Bratt is sporting grass stains on her knees, making the detectives believe she may have been the assailant who jumped out the window. Bratt contradicts their story – she was on her knees for an entirely different, and sexual, purpose.

Back at the lab, Doc Robbins performs an autopsy on Duke to discover the first shot shred through his spinal chord, paralyzing him on impact. Grissom and Brass talk to Lois, who had first claimed she saw Tim crawling after the first shot was fired. The woman admits she was so panicked she must've seen things, but Grissom and Brass know there's more to the story than meets the eye. Where there's money, however, there are also secrets hidden, and discovering Lois's will be the key to cracking the case.

The return of Sam Braun doesn't come without some important revelations. TV Guide reported earlier this month Catherine Willows's parents will play an important role in this episode. According to the producers, more family secrets will be revealed, secrets Catherine wish had stayed buried. "Once again, a shadow of suspicion is cast on Catherine's dad, and then truth is much closer to home that she would ever suspect," said showrunner Carol Mendelsohn.

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from early script drafts and the details and the airing order of the episodes are liable to change before the episodes are shown.

"Kiss-Kiss, Bye-Bye" will most likely air during January of 2006.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
