The members of the CSI franchise continue to lead in their timeslots.

On Monday, Rory Cochrane's (Tim Speedle) return to CSI: Miami pulled in a larger crowd. The show had 15.59 million viewers, which is more than a million higher than the previous episode. Miami got a 4.8 rating/12 share in the vital 18-49 demographic, easily beating NBC's Journeyman (2.7/7 with 6.75 million viewers).

CSI: New York continued to gain on Wednesday, drawing in 13.9 million overall viewers. New York's lead in, Criminal Minds, also gained in viewers for the latest episode, continuing to play to a larger audience than CSI: NY with 14.9 million viewers. New York, however, won in the 10:00pm EST timeslot over its competitors, Dirty Sexy Money (8.6 million) and Life (7.7 million). CSI: NY also led in the 18-49 demographic with 4.1/11. As with last week, while Criminal Minds had more overall viewers, New York had a higher rating in 18-49 (Minds earned 3.9/10 in the vital demographic).

For the first time this season, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation gained in viewers from week to week. The latest episode drew in 21.22 million viewers overall. Once again, while Grey's Anatomy lost in overall viewers, it continued to beat CSI in the 18-49 demographic (with 7.3/17 to CSI's 6.5/15). CSI's ratings did not help Viva Laughlin, which aired its first episode after the forensic drama in place of Without a Trace. The musical hybrid series premiered with only 8.39 million viewers and 2.3/6 in the 18-49 demographic, well below the numbers pulled in by its lead-in.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?

It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
