Tonight's episode of CSI: Miami is a winner, according to TV Guide.

Entitled "Wannabe", the episode involves an aspiring crime scene investigator who follows Tim Speedle around while he conducts a murder investigation. Here's what TV Guide had to say:

"This crime drama and the original Las Vegas-set series make working in forensics look pretty cool. After all, CSIs get to collect evidence at crime scenes, piece together clues in the lab and track down bad guys in the field. What's not to like? Well, in this first-rate story, an amateur sleuth finds out the job isn't all fun and games after he unwittingly becomes part of the murder investigation he wants to help solve. The CSI wannabe goes to the site of the homicide and steals a key piece of evidence that compromises the case and dramatically alters his life."

"Wannabe" was written by John Haynes, CSI: Miami's technical adviser who penned the stories for "Freaks and Tweaks" and "Extreme". Fred Keller, whose credits include Las Vegas, 24 and Boomtown, directed "Wannabe".

The following guest actors will appear in the episode, according to Yahoo! TV:

  • Sofia Milos as Yelina Salas
  • Tom Hillman as Special Agent Sackheim ("Cross-Jurisdictions", "Double Cap")
  • Billy Kay (The Battle of Shaker Heights)
  • Melody Perkins (Power Rangers In Space)
  • Ivana Milicevic (Paycheck, Vanilla Sky)
  • Salvator Xuereb (Pensacola: Wings of Gold)
  • Nicholas Guilak (24, The Agency)
  • Austin Tichenor (The Practice, The West Wing)
  • Johanna Watts (Cold Case)
  • Shelli Bergh as Paula Muro ("Complications", "Extreme")
  • Brian Poth as Tyler Jenson
  • Cristian de la Fuente as Sam Belmontes ("Hard Time", "Extreme")

CSI: Miami will air at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time tonight on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
