CBS has released the promo for the new CSI:Miami episode “Throwing Heat.”

In this episode, Detective Frank Tripp’s life hangs in the balance when he steps on a land mine while investigating a crime scene.

The 30-second promo can now be downloaded at CBS.com. For those with slower internet connections, a full transcript of the promo video follows:

[Text over: “Monday.”]

[A boat races to the ocean’s shore.] [Voice over: “When you go to Miami …”]

[A man’s jean-clad legs step out of the boat, into the shallow water near the shore.]

[Simultaneous voice and text over: “Watch …”]

[Close-up on a young man’s face.]

[The young man runs toward dry land.]

[Simultaneous voice and text over: “… your step.”]

[A man’s foot steps onto the sand; as it does, sand explodes into the air in all directions.]

[The young man is thrown high in the air.]

[A motorcycle races past.]

[Close up on Horatio.]

[Horatio: “I think we’re looking for an assassin.”]

[A man sits on a boat, armed with a semi-automatic weapon pointed out toward the water.]

[Voice over: “It’s the most explosive …”]

[A baseball game is seen through the circular sight of a gun.]

[Ryan runs toward the camera.]

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
