CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's fourth season finale, "Bloodlines," drew 25.12 million viewers in total last night, easily making it the number one show of the evening.

According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Bloodlines" earned a 18.8 rating/27 share. This means that 18.8% of households were watching CSI last night at 9pm, while 27% of all households watching television at the time were viewing the episode. The ratings reflected a rise from last week's 16.2/23, when CSI faced off against Frasier.

"Bloodlines" was preceded by a rerun of CSI's "Early Rollout", which earned a 10.2/16 in the 8pm hour. CSI's closest competitor was a block of Friends reruns on NBC, which ran for two hours, from 8-10pm and earned a 6.0/9 in the overnights. Without a Trace followed CSI at 10pm and took the first place slot in its hour with a 14.6/22 rating and 19.71 million viewers.

CBS won the night by huge margin, coming in 125% of second place NBC. CBS, which averaged 19.63 million viewers, scored a 14.6/22 in the overnights. NBC was a distant second with a 6.5/10 and 7.68 million viewers. ABC narrowly beat Fox for third place (5.7/9 vs. 5.3/8), while UPN came in ahead of last place WB (3.7/6 vs. 2.3/4).

Why can't the CSIs get dates?

	All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
	It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
	Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
	These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
	They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
