Sources today revealed the first plot details for "Grave Young Men", the twentieth episode of CSI: Miami's freshman season.

In the episode, Pete Wilson, a man who Horatio Caine helped put behind bars ten years ago, returns to ask him a favour. Apparently his teenage son, Jeff, has been missing for seven days. Horatio tries to brush Pete off, saying it's a job for the detectives, but Pete is adamant that it has to be Horatio — after all, he stopped at nothing to convict him. The CSI eventually relents and agrees to take on the case.

On a visit to the Wilson household, Horatio and Delko initially struggle to uncover anything in Jeff's room — it's spotless, perhaps a little too spotless. But Horatio finds a smudge mark on the window sill which matches the configuration of a 9mm automatic. The plot thickens when the CSIs discover a tree in the backyard riddled with bullet holes.

Pete denies any knowledge of a gun in the house — after all, it's against the conditions of his parole for him to own a gun. Furthermore, he dismisses Horatio's suggestion that Jeff could have possessed a weapon, even though the neighbours have regularly heard gunshots after he returned home from school.

Horatio forces the issue by calling in Pete's parole officer, who decides the bullet holes in the tree are enough evidence that Pete has violated the conditions of his parole. As he is led off back to prison, he urges Horatio to continue searching for his son...

While Calleigh will be assisting Horatio and Delko with the Wilson case, Speedle has his own assignment — an athletic 40-year-old man found dead in his bed after a night of passion with his twenty-something floozy.

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from an early draft of the script and details may change before the episode goes to air.

"Grave Young Men" will likely air in April or May, 2003.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
