  • Recently, the official Sofia Milos (Yelina Salas) website confirmed the actress's departure off CSI: Miami. According to a Miami mole, the character's storyline with front man Horatio Caine has run out its course, and the character will be written out this upcoming season. A new love interest for Horatio will be introduced later on.

    But the website called for fans not to lose hope. Milos might return to the show, but it, "depends how much she is needed by Horatio Cane and her fans. Regardless, Sofia loved working on CSI: Miami and spending an hour each week with her fans. Thank you all for your great support and admiration."

  • The 5th season of CSI on DVD might arrive a little late this year. According to Your Tax Dollars at Work, fans may have to wait until November, at the earliest, for the release.

  • If you'd like to spend a whole day on the set of CSI, the Auction for 1000 Stars recently kicked off, and one of the items for bidding is a VIP, all day access to the set of the show. The online bidding will continue for seven more days.

  • If you already miss Television Without Pity's recaps of CSI, then make sure to check out Fandom Talk. The website has already started recapping episodes of New York, and will soon add CSI to its lineup.

  • Schools in Alabama will this fall take advantage of students' fascination with CSI to add a forensic science courses to its curriculum. "Students love this stuff. They're watching 'CSI' and 'Law & Order' on TV, so they can relate to it," said Kay Pinegar, a science teacher. "If you're doing what they are doing for entertainment in the classroom, they're going to love it."

  • Playboy Magazine recently reviewed the David Caruso (Horatio Caine) movie Kiss of Death. The magazine gave the movie three bunny ears our of four. "Breathing hard but moving steadily to superstardom, David Caruso can give the back of his hand to skeptics who thought he was being reckless when he left NYPD Blue."

  • And DavidCarusoFans.com also has new Miami cast, Horatio Caine, and Michael Hayes photographs.

  • New photos of Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) have also been added to JustAdam.net. The update includes studio photographs and screen caps of his role in Roswell.

  • Visit Mega Star for the opportunity to win a region two encoding CSI 4.2 DVD. According to the website, winning depends on your ability to answer one question, which fans need to register to see.

  • A parody of the fake merger between ICM and the real estate agency Century 21 is now available at Dateline: Hollywood. It includes a hilarious explanation as to why Liam Neeson might soon appear on CSI: Miami as a dead body.

  • Screen caps of the CSI episode "Play With Fire" have been added to Erica's CSI Caps.

  • And your source for CSI: Miami website, Miami Style has a new layout. Its latest update also includes screen caps of the episode "Sex and Taxes."

  • If you live in Louisville, Kentucky, the Louisville Free Public Library has begun a CSI program for teenagers called CSI at your Library. Guest speakers will discuss such careers as FBI agents, forensic experts, homicide detectives, and medical examiners.
