The CSI franchise has done well during the past two weeks.

On April 7, CSI: Miami was preempted by the NCAA Basketball Championship Series. Airing from 9:00-11:00pm, the sporting event had an average of 16.55 million viewers and a 6.1 rating/16 share in the vital 18-49 demographic. Medium came in second with 10.72 million viewers and a score of 3.4/9 in 18-49.

The new episode of CSI: New York that aired April 9 earned the top spot during the 10:00pm hour with 12.24 million viewers and 3.1/8 in the 18-49 demo. Despite leading the timeslot, New York was down nearly one million viewers from lead-in Criminal Minds (13.14 million). New York was followed by the NBC special Primetime: The Last Lecture – A Love Story For Your Life in second place (8.21 million viewers, 2.7/7) and a repeat of Law and Order (6.19 million, 1.8/5) in third.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation led the 9:00pm hour on April 10 with 19.93 million viewers and 5.7/14 in the crucial demographic for a new episode. Despite the win in its timeslot, CSI was down 2.25 million viewers and 15% among adults 18-49 year-to-year (and without competition from Grey's Anatomy this year). Coming in behind CSI were FOX's Don't Forget the Lyrics (second place in overall viewers with 10.91 million and third in 18-49 with 4.0/10) and two NBC sitcoms: The Office (a third place 9.22 million viewers and second place 4.8/12) and Scrubs (6.57 million viewers and 3.4/8 in 18-49, coming in third in both categories).

This past week, two repeats and a fresh episode came out on top in overall viewers.

A repeat of CSI: Miami came in first in overall viewers last week with 10.55 million. Medium came in second with 9.58 million viewers. The two shows switched places in the 18-49 demographic with Medium having a 3.1 rating/9 share versus Miami's 3.0/8.

On Wednesday, CSI: New York was up more than a million viewers from the week before, pulling in 13.35 million viewers and 3.7/10 in the 18-49 demo, earning the series the top spot at 10:00pm. A repeat of Law and Order came in second with 6.20 million viewers and 1.8/5 in 18-49.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's repeat won in overall viewers on Thursday with 10.69 million. In the 18-49 demographic, however, the crime drama came in third with 2.8/7. NBC sitcoms The Office (9.81 million viewers) and Scrubs (7.31 million) got the top spot in the demo for the hour with scores of 4.9/13 and 3.7/10, respectively. FOX's Don't Forget the Lyrics came in second overall for the hour with 9.53 million viewers (over the 8.56 million average between the two NBC sitcoms) and second in the 18-49 demo with 3.2/9.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
