CBS recently premiered the trailer for next week's new CSI episode, "Last Laugh".

In the episode, the Grissom and Catherine investigate the case of a comedian who collapses in the middle of his act. More detailed spoilers on the episode's plot can be found in our recent spoiler news item on the episode.

[Grissom shines a torch at the camera.]

A SITCOM STAR DIES ON STAGE... LITERALLY

[A logo 'TV's Most Watched Show' is superimposed over the following scenes.]

[A comedian performs on stage at 'The Comedy Hole,' the crowd is cheering]

[A man approaches the comedian on stage.]

[Close-up of a hand holding a mike.]

[Seen from behind, the comedian begins to collapse.]

[The spotlight follows the comedian as he falls on the stage floor.]

[Several audience members strain to see what happened.]

[Nick and Grissom look at the body lying on stage in the now-empty comedy club.]

Catherine: "What are you looking for?"

Grissom: "A punch line."

THESE ARE NOT YOUR USUAL SUSPECTS

[The camera pans around one of the comedians.]

[As Catherine takes the DNA sample, a text 'Gilbert Gottfried' appears.]

[The two comedians embrace each other on stage.]
