A familiar face drops by.

According to CSI Files sources, "Drops' Out" begins with a young blonde woman moving nervously down the hallway in an apartment building. She's either scared or high--possibly both. Her eyes are darting around as she walks slowly toward her destination, watching for any sign of danger. As she rounds a corner, she sees the apartment door she's heading toward--it's ajar.

The woman reacts, wondering if someone is inside. She forces herself to swallow the fear, moving toward the door and pushing it completely open. The space beyond is pitch black, but she steps cautiously over the threshold. Once she is inside, the dark and silence are broken by gunshots as a person crouching in the corner opens fire.

Grissom's team arrives at the scene to investigate the young woman's death. Brass finds out that Drops (Method Man) is leasing the apartment her body was found in. The team has dealt with Drops twice before. They first encountered him in "Poppin Tags" as the sidekick of "Dollar" (Kennedy), a rapper with a connection to several murders. Drops showed up again when he literally crashed a party at a strip club ("Big Shots"), alone in the back of a limo with a dead body, covered with blood.

Drops is also leasing the apartment upstairs from the one where they found the dead woman, and when the team investigates, they find a second body. This can't be a coincidence. Drops is in jail, but he's definitely got a connection to both victims: The woman in the upstairs apartment is Maria Espinosa, and her daughter lived in the downstairs apartment where the younger woman--Jessica Jaynes--was found.

Grissom comes up with a theory, and Nick gets to test it out. Meanwhile, Jessica's husband Walter is notified, and he comes to the morgue to identify the body, carrying his infant son in his arms. While in the morgue, he folds back the sheet covering his wife's body and touches the series of dollar sign tattoos on her waist, like a belt. Her cold skin makes him pull back, but he whispers to her that they almost made it all the way around.

They've identified the victims, but the trouble doesn't end there. Maria Espinosa's daughter Dana is missing, and she's pregnant. Drops is the baby's father, and Brass gets the man out of jail (with a GPS tracker around his ankle) to help them find Dana before anything happens to her or her unborn child.

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from early script drafts and the details of the episodes are liable to change before the episodes are shown.

"Drops' Out" is expected to air April 17.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
