CSI: Crime Scene Investigation swept to victory once again in the overnight ratings on Thursday, giving CBS a win for the night.

According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Early Rollout" earned a 20.9 rating/29 share in the overnights. This means that last night, approximately 20.9% of households in overnight markets were tuned to CBS, and 29% of households watching television at the time had CSI onscreen.

This rating is up .9 and one share from "Paper or Plastic" last week, with viewership holding steady, estimated at 30.71 million.

Though CBS had the top fast affiliate numbers with 24.49 million to NBC's 21.55 million, NBC won the Adults 18-49 demographic, with a 10.4/25 for the night against CBS's 8.6/21. All the shows named as winners last night by the Programming Insider are on one of those two networks: Friends and Will & Grace on NBC in the 8-9 hour, which triumphed over Survivor: All-Stars on CBS; CSI, which trumped NBC's The Apprentice, with its 13.6/9 rating; then ER (NBC) and Without A Trace (CBS), both of which are expected to finish in the top 10 for the week.
