Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) this week revealed she will be showing co-stars Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) and George Eads (Nick Stokes) who's the boss later this season.

"I'm going to be given my own shift in which I'll be supervising. My team is going to be, I'm sad to say, Gary and George, so sad," Helgenberger told Extra TV during a visit to the California Science Centre where Gunther Von Hagen was staging his exhibition of the human anatomy.

As previously reported, Catherine Willows will receive a promotion to head up the new swing-shift CSI team in the upcoming episode "Mea Culpa". When Extra asked Helgenberger "how much she will enjoy cracking the whip", the actress had this to say: "Well, as long as I'm in thigh-high boots with that whip."

The newsmagazine also caught up with CSI star Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) on the red carpet at the show's 100th episode party. Fox, who along with Eads was fired then re-hired from the show earlier this year, said she doesn't "take any single day for granted". "We've been so blessed and so lucky and I hope we keep doing it for a long time." The actress also admitted she was "constantly squeamish" when shooting episodes because "horrible things happen to people and we recreate those scenes and we go to crime scenes and then we go to the morgue and then to the lab, where we chop up pieces of their liver or their heart."

Eads also said he was thankful to be a part of such a successful television franchise. "I remember doing a couple of shows that actually got cancelled, we won't talk about those. But they went for seven or eight episodes, something like that, so I was used to things that kind of ran a little bit and then went away. So it's awesome."
