Newsmagazine Extra recently visited the set of CSI: Miami at the Shore Club in South Beach to catch the catwalk superstar filming her appearance in the season premiere, "Blood Brothers".
Reporter Lisa Petrillo spoke to Klum about her small guest role in the episode, which revolves around the murder of a model during Miami Fashin Week. "I just happen to be at a party and I get interviewed and in the background there is something going on that's very important for all, you know, the people from CSI to see," Klum said. "So they catch a clue."
 The party scene also involved real-life MTV VJ Quddus, who interviews Klum for a TLR segment in the episode, and Emmy-winning actor Chad Lowe. The former Life Goes On star reportedly plays "the sleazy owner of a South Beach modeling agency".
"It's fun being Mr. South Beach," Lowe said. "I mean, that's fun. I'm usually Mr. Dayton, Ohio, which is kind of boring." The actor, who hails from Dayton, added, "No offense to my peeps in Dayton."
