David Caruso (Horatio Caine) expects CSI: Miami will be bigger and better during its 5th season.

"We're about to depart on an entirely new storyline next season," David reveals. "It's very interesting. We are literally taking the show to another level. We are expanding our horizons."

He refers, of course, to Horatio Caine's final revelation during the last episode of the season, in which he announced the crew will be going to Brazil to bring down the head of the Mala Noche gang, which is responsible for the death of his young bride.

Brazil isn't exactly a no-man country for CSI: Miami, since the show was declared last season as the most watched show on the planet. "It's pretty astonishing," he said. "What's interesting about the show and the character is they seemed to have transcended culture."

According to Caruso, part of the show's popularity is due to Horatio's humanity. "He's not a corruptible man, and I think that we're searching for people to believe in and he is a man that has demonstrated on a very consistent basis that he will not be sidetracked, he will not be poisoned and he will not step back off the ethics that I think people need to have in our civil servants."

Caruso seems to be on top of the world right now, in addition to being on one of the most popular shows worldwide, every day he goes home to his 8-month-old son Marquez. "It's great. Yeah, we're thrilled," he said. "We're very, very lucky, and it's nice to have that little sanctum to go home to everyday and to have this fresh little guy there. He's amazing."

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
