It's not a good week to be in charge.

On Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Miami airs "Going Ballistic", the season six finale:

When someone is determined to take down the team, Horatio puts his life on the line.

This is Sam Hill's thirteenth turn in the director's chair for Miami. His most recent episode prior to this was "Ambush". Corey Miller has written 18 previous episodes of the show, including "CSI: My Nanny".

The following actors and actresses will guest-star in the Miami finale:

  • Elizabeth Berkley as Julia Winston
  • Kim Coastes as Ron Saris
  • Steve Braun as Brad Gower
  • David Keith as Agent Evan Caldwell
  • Lyriq Bent as Colin Madison
  • Jose Zuniga as Juan Ortega
  • Jay Tavare as Manny Ortega
  • Allison McAtee as Shannon Higgins
  • Kurt Long as Thomas Wellner

Elizabeth Berkley and Kim Coates are reprising established roles, and both were last seen in "All In". Jose Zuniga has appeared on Miami before, in "Simple Man", and he also played a detective in eight episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, including "A Bullet Runs Through It, Part Two". Steve Braun was in the CSI: New York episode "Charge of this Post".

CSI: New York will air its finale this week as well. On Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT, "Hostage" finds Mac in a sticky situation:

When a heist goes bad and a bank manager is shot dead, a frantic gunman takes the entire bank hostage and demands a CSI come in to prove his innocence.

"Hostage" was directed by Rob Bailey, who has 19 other credits for the show, including "Admissions". The episode was written by Peter M. Lenkov and Zachary Reiter. Lenkov has 12 writing credits (the latest being "DOA for a Day"), and Reiter has 13 (the latest being "Admissions").

"Hostage" contains the following guest-stars:

  • Robert Joy as Dr. Sid Hammerback
  • Elias Koteas as "Joe"/Douglas
  • Tiara Parker as Talia Kirkfield
  • Dennis W. Hall as Steven Morris
  • Sharni Vinson as Lori Mandel
  • Roger Aaron Brown as HRT Commander Richard Jackson
  • Adam Baldwin as Brett Dunbar
  • Dayo Ade as Derrick James

Robert Joy is reprising his established role as coroner Sid Hammerback. Roger Aaron Brown was in the CSI episode "Bodies in Motion". Adam Baldwin appeared on Miami, in the episode "Dead Woman Walking"

On Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will re-air "Dead Doll", the premiere of season eight. The episode picked up where the season seven finale, "Living Doll", ended: with Sara trapped in the desert after being kidnapped by the Miniature Killer. Grissom and the rest of the team had to find her before it was too late.

"Going Ballistic", "Hostage" and the repeat of "Dead Doll" begin airing May 19 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
