Actress Alanna Ubach (Constance Briell) recently landed a multi-episode arc on the third CSI series, CSI: New York.

Ubach penned a deal that will turn her sole guest appearance as a lab technician into a full-blown recurring role. Her character, Constance Briell, was introduced as a ballistics expert in the episode "The Dove Commission", where she helped Stella Bonasera identify the bullets used in the assassination of a high ranking New York commissioner.

The actress is best known for her recent appearance in the movie Meet the Fockers, as well as her comedic performances in Legally Blonde and its sequel, and Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. An actor since the age of fifteen, Ubach has guest-starred on the television series The West Wing, ER, and Monk, among others. Her future projects include Sony Pictures TV's comedy pilot Uncommon Sense and the movie Herbie: Fully Loaded.

Ubach joins Sonya Walger (Jane Parsons), Kelly Hu (Kaile Maka), J. Grant Albrecht (Dr. Leonard Giles), Chad Lindberg (Chad Willingham) and Denice J. Sealy (Raquel Trinidad) in the list of New York's recurring roles. Her next appearance will be on the May sweeps episode, "On the Job."
