Two members of the franchise divulge secrets.

According to Ausiello, an upcoming episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will find the team investigating the death of a science fiction icon at an event similar to Comic-Con. Over on CSI: New York, Adam Ross (AJ Buckley) will get to play the hero, as reported by TV Guide. Based on CSI Files sources, Adam rescues a man in "Green Piece" after a bomb explodes. (For more information, check out the CSI Files spoiler report for "Green Piece". Please be aware that it contains major spoilers.)

"Green Piece" will also feature a big development for two members of the New York team. In the episode, set to air March 11, Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Lindsay Monroe (Anna Belknap) will make their relationship official. The characters are expecting a child on the show, and Belknap is pregnant with her second child in real life. In order to accommodate the actress's maternity leave, Lindsay will take a trip home to Montana to "share her pregnancy with her family," according to executive producer Pam Veasey.

In casting news, Charisma Carpenter is set to appear in an upcoming episode of CSI. The episode, titled "Descent of Man", will feature Carpenter as a skydiver called Mink. TV Guide said the character is "fun and memorable." Katharine McPhee will follow in the footsteps of fellow American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry ("My Name is Mac Taylor") by guest-starring on CSI: NY. She'll play a singer and will perform during the episode, which is scheduled to air in April.

Ben Morrison had to learn how to speak Gaelic overnight to audition for a role in an upcoming episode of New York. "I hopped on Twitter and sent a message asking if anyone out there could pronounce Gaelic," the actor told the LAist. "An hour later I had more incoming Gaelic [than] the Dublin airport. I was floored." Morrison landed the role and posted a thank you to the people who helped him. He also shared a picture of himself on the CSI: NY set with Eddie Cahill (Don Flack).

Plot spoilers are courtesy of Ausiello and TV Guide (here and here). Casting information is from TV Guide and Ausiello. Morrison's interview is from the LAist. Thanks to Shane from TalkCSI.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
