The franchise airs three new episodes this week.

On Monday at 10:00pm ET/PT, CSI: Miami starts out the week with a trip to the race track in "And They're Offed:

When a murder occurs during a horse race, Horatio discovers that Ryan has a personal connection to the case.

Matt Earl Beesley has directed seven previous episodes of Miami, including "Won't Get Fueled Again" from earlier this season. Barry O'Brien has 13 writing credits for the show, most recently for the season seven premiere, "Resurrection".

The following guest stars will appear in the episode:

Christopher Redman made his third appearance as Michael Travers in last week's episode, "Head Case". Samantha Quan has also been in the lab for three episodes, most recently in "Cheating Death". Andrew Divoff first guest-starred in "Raging Cannibal" in the first half of the season. Tanner Blaze had a brief appearance in "Power Trip". Graham Beckel was in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "I Like to Watch" during the show's sixth season. The other actors are new to the franchise.

CSI: New York finds a member of the team under investigation Wednesday at 10:00pm ET/PT in "Rush to Judgment":

The CSIs must piece together a human jigsaw puzzle when a beloved wrestling coach's severed body parts are found buried throughout the city. Meanwhile, Detective Flack is in the hot seat when a teenage suspect dies in his custody.

Rob Bailey has directed 23 episodes of New York, including the 100th episode, "My Name is Mac Taylor". This is the sixth time Wendy Battles has written for the show. Her latest credit is for "Sex, Lies and Silicone".

"Rush to Judgment" will feature the following guest stars:

  • Philip Anthony-Rodriguez as Lt. John Malley

  • DJ Elliott as Asst Coach Donahue
  • Scott Sheldon as Lt Bruce Jackson
  • Kevin Kazakoff as Johnny Holt
  • George Newbern as Mitchell Sheridan

Emmanuelle Vaugier is reprising her established recurring role as Detective Jessica Angell. Philip Anthony-Rodriguez was in the Miami episode "Payback". Jake Abel also appeared on Miami, in last season's "Stand Your Ground". George Newbern has appeared on both CSI ("Bloodlines") and Miami ("To Kill a Predator").

It's no walk in the park for the newest member of the team in "The Grave Shift" on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Thursday at 9:00pm ET/PT:

The first day on the job for Dr. Langston turns from bad to worse when a simple burglary case quickly overlaps with a complicated arson and homicide case.

Richard J. Lewis has directed 42 previous episodes of CSI, including "Say Uncle" from earlier this season. Writing duo (and supervising producers) David Weddle and Bradley Thompson penned "The Grave Shift", which is the first CSI episode they've written.

The following actors and actresses will appear in guest-starring roles:

  • Archie Kao as Archie Johnson
  • Michelle Clunie as Paulla Kingsley

  • Lisa Arturo as Mrs Hilliard

Marc Vann and Archie Kao are reprising established recurring roles. Larry Sullivan is returning as Officer Akers. Anthony Starke played a different character in "Anatomy of a Lye" during CSI's second season. Lisa Arturo was in the season one episode "Sex, Lies and Larvae". Michael Cudlitz previously appeared in CSI ("And Then There Were None"), and he has also guest-starred on Miami ("Nothing to Lose") and New York ("Super Men").

"And They're Offed", "Rush to Judgment" and "The Grave Shift" begin airing January 19 on CBS.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
