The second member of the franchise passes an important mile marker.

This week, CSI: Miami will air "Gone Baby Gone", which is the 150th episode of the series. "It doesn't feel old," David Caruso (Horatio Caine) told Entertainment Tonight. "It's very fresh, and every year we get to reinvent the show, so we have a lot of energy. We're ready to go forward."

"We feel that we have managed to distinguish ourselves to some degree in the world of CSI," Caruso continued, "and we are very lucky to have the viewership we do around the world. And we're gonna try and hang on to them." The key, Miami's leading man said, is "to find your audience, and then keep your audience satisfied."

Miami's resident detective, Rex Linn (Frank Tripp), was surprised when Caruso told him they were working on episode 150. "I was elated," Linn said, "and I still can't believe it. It's really awesome, and that's hard to accomplish on any television show. So we're all excited. We're all getting along and having a blast."

"The show is so great, and people really love it, and the interest is not waning in the show," Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) said. "I think we're gonna be here for another hundred." The current season, she said, is going back to the basics and that it will be "driven by the story and by the plot, so it's definitely gonna be about the goose chase and about the puzzle and about the crime solving."

Emily Procter (Calleigh Duquesne) said the show has incorporated a lot of "heavy-duty action" in season seven. "Tonight is one of those shows where there's a lot of chaos, and it's a very big, very action-based show. I think season seven is going to continue that way. We've already had quite a bit of stuntwork. I actually got hurt." The stunt in question involved dropping Procter into a hole while wearing a harness. "It's really fun for us to be able to do things like that," she said. "It feels very decadent. I feel like we're getting away with murder--literally."

The original interview clip can be watched at ET Online.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
