CBS today released the promo of the new CSI: New York episode "City Of The Dolls."

In it, the body of a man is discovered buried among a pile of detached doll parts, and Mac, Lindsay, Det. Maka and Danny are called to one of their most bizarre crime scenes yet. The team must piece together the clues and doll parts to discover who murdered the store's owner. Meanwhile, a beautiful waitress is found dead in a studio apartment recently bestowed to her by one of her patrons. Norberto Barba directed the episode written by Pam Veasey, one of the series' executive producers.

CBS WEDNESDAY

[Shot of a tiny arm, dirty and ragged.]

[Shot of a blonde doll, hanging off a shelf.]

[Another naked doll lays to the side, her legs and one of her hands are cut off.]

Maka: "Welcome to New York City's premiere doll hospital."

[Another doll lays on a shelf, her head hanging off her body by a string.]

[Two doll heads lay on display, they're completely identical.]

[Mac looks around the hospital, walking in slowly. Even he's spooked by the sight.]

[A doll lays on the floor. Suddenly, her lips begin to move.]

Doll: "I saw them kissing again."

WHAT THIS DOLL HAS TO SAY

[The same doll lays on a table, and her lips are still moving.]

[A girl lays in bed, whispering to the doll, before she looks around secretly.]

[Mac looks around the doll hospital as the doll continues talking.]

Doll: "This time they were naked."

[Flashback: A man and a woman fool around in bed.]

COULD REVEAL THE SECRET

[A man lays on the floor, dead, his body covered in doll parts.]

[A young boy stumbles upon the body and screams.]

Boy: "Oh my God!"

[This time, a woman lays on the floor. A pair of gloved hands hold on to her hair.]

[The person pulls, and the woman's hair comes off easily, leaving her bald.]

TO A MURDER

[Close-up of another doll, all dressed up. This one isn't broken or spooky.]

[Stella looks around an empty apartment with her flashlight.]

[Mac holds the talking doll in his hand and looks down at it.]

Mac: "Something about this little doll was worth dying for."

[Another doll's head lays inside a drawer. Her smile is creepy.]

[Stella looks down at it and addresses someone.]

Stella: "Is it me or is she smiling?"

[Lindsay ponders the motives for the murder.]

Lindsay: "Maybe this isn't about the doll at all."

[She picks up something from the floor and inspects it.]

[It's an eyeglass.]

[Back at the lab, Mac inspects the doll's arm closely.]

Mac: "This little arm is our murder weapon."

[Someone drops a piece of ceramic and it shatters as it hits the floor.]

[Shot of a few dozen crystal eyeballs, parts of discarded dolls.]

[A dolls hangs off the ceiling, dirty and broken, she screams out.]

Doll: "You're my best friend."

[A man and a woman ride in a taxi cab. Something spooks them, they jump and look out the back window.]

[A young man is running down the sidewalk, fleeing from someone. It's snowing.]

[Close-up of another abandoned doll, this one is in a box.]

[A trucker is inside his truck, looking forward, when a snowball hits his side window. He jumps, spooked.]

[Yet another doll hanging from the ceiling. This one is naked, her eyes closed, she's dirty and bald.]

Doll: "I want to play."

[Danny looks around the doll hospital.] Danny: "Now this is spooky."
