  • An interview with George Eads (Nick Stokes) with a French radio station can be found by following the instructions at CSI Forum Europe. In the interview, Eads tries to make sense of questions asked to him in French and translated in real-time, and discusses how he had to contemplate his own death while filming last year's CSI season finale.

  • Controversy has erupted over a Hallmark birthday card bearing the title "CSI: Topeka" and featuring a cartoon of two people standing over a corpse, with one saying, "Looks like he was bored to death." According to the Deseret News, the card has angered mayor Bill Bunten, who said it was "offensive" and "probably drawn up by somebody from West Virginia who hasn't been here."

  • Now available in the United Kingdom is issue 22 of CSI: The Official DVD Collection. The magazine includes articles on the lab kit, corpse analysis, and the phenomenon of desert drowing, as well as a DVD containing the episodes "Cats in the Cradle" and "Anatomy Of A Lye."

  • MargHelgenberger.com has posted the recent Entertainment Tonight segment in which the Catherine Willows actress was told the news about her friend and ET fashion guru Steven "Cojo" Cojocaru receiving a second kidney transplant.

  • According to the Sci-Fi Wire, CBS has ordered a full season of Ghost Whisperer, the new show starring Aisha Tyler (Mia Dickenson).

  • The Philadelphia Daily News recently included an article praising CSI producer Jerry Bruckheimer for including smart women in all of his shows.

  • According to the Los Angeles Daily News, Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) attended a charity brunch recently to raise funds for the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center.

  • The Houston Voice compares the new PBS adapation of the classic Sherlock Holmes stories to "CSI: Victorian England," writing that Rupert Everett's "Holmes is very similar to Gil Grissom, the curmudgeonly lead character on CBS CSI who is more interested in his work than his personal life and snarls at anyone he deems intellectually inferior."

  • Over at the JFO are new screenshots from the original CSI episode "Shooting Stars," mostly focusing on Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle).

  • The Arizona Daily Wildcat carries a story about a recent visit to the University of Arizona by alum Brice Akridge, a criminalist at the Arizona Department of Public Safety, who gave a lecture on real-life CSI techniques.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
