CBS this week released various video promos of the CSI season finale episode "Grave Danger".

With the CSI closing episode only a few days away, CBS is doing everything it can to catch the attention of regular and not so regular viewers of the show. The Eye network is currently running five different promos on the Quentin Tarantino directed "Grave Danger". In this two-hour episode, Nick is kidnapped and buried alive, and the CSI teams come together in a race against the clock to find him and bring him home safely. But time and lack of objectivity soon make them realize this is a race they might lose.

For those of you with slower connections, CSI Files has available a transcript of one of the promos, in addition to the one released last week (news):

[Sam Braun addresses Catherine.]
[Catherine looks uncertain.]
[In the locker room, Warrick opens one of the lockers and sits down, exhausted.]
[Maps are scattered all over the layout table. The CSIs try to figure out Nick's location.]
[Nick lays inside the coffin, unconscious, as someone shovels dirt over it.]
[Later, he wakes up and realizes where he is, tries to find a way out but there isn't one.]
[As he holds a light-stick in his hand he looks up, but there's nothing up but six feet of dirt.]
[Holding the light tightly, he screams.]

In addition, the network has released two heartbreaking promos that highlight Grissom's paternal affection towards Nick. In them, various members of the CSI team break down emotionally when the realization that they might lose one of their own finally hits, as Nick tries to do everything he can to survive. Eventually, however, he gives up fighting and leaves his mentor a gut wrenching message. "This is a lousy way to say goodbye," Nick cries to Grissom on the tape recorder. "I know you did the best you could to find me."

The network has also released a 3-minute extended footage from one of the episode's key scenes. In it, Nick wakes up to realize he's trapped in an enclosed space. He can barely move but tries to keep himself together. Panic begins to set in when he finds a light stick, and a gun. A tape recorder has also been left inside the coffin, and confused, Nick hits plays. The voice of Walter Gordon comes on. Nick listens in horror as his assailant tells him he has two options: breathe slowly or put a gun in his mouth. "You're gonna die anyway," Walter Gordon laughs. Nick struggles to push the lid of the coffin open, but eventually gives up. There's nothing he can do but scream.

Why can't the CSIs get dates?
All work and no play makes Greg a blue boy.
It probably has something to do with the fact that every time Horatio Caine has sex with a woman, she dies.
Shower sex loses its allure when there's lemons involved.
These people collect body fluids for a living. Then again, if David the coroner can get laid...
They can get dates, I bet. We just don't see it.
Three words: Hank the Skank.
