  • William Petersen (Gil Grissom) and Melinda Clarke (Lady Heather) appeared on Entertainment Tonight and The Early Show (respectively) to talk about their characters' relationship on CSI. According to Petersen, there could be romance in the horizon for the two. "I think he's vulnerable to her because I think he cares about her," he said. Meanwhile, Clarke said there is "unfinished business" between Grissom and Heather, implying that the actress might come back to CSI soon. Thanks to Elyse for this!

  • Mike Ausiello, of TV Guide's Ask Ausiello column, has some new spoilers about an upcoming episode of CSI. "In March, we're going to find out that the honeymoon is already over for Warrick and his new bride, Tina. Also, next month a fairly major secret will be revealed about Catherine and her daughter, Lindsay," he said.

  • The Melina Kanakaredes (Stella Bonasera) dedicated website Divine Providence has announced a couple of possible release dates for the actress's movie Into The Fire. The movie might be shown on cable either April or May, and is expected to be released on DVD around September. Visit the movie's official website to learn more about the plot.

  • Actor Samuel L. Jackson said in an interview with Dark Horizons that if he had a chance, he would love to do a spot for CSI. "I like Law an Order and CSI. I did Law an Order before I left New York when it was just one Law an Order. But you know I like things like CSI and The Wire and The Sopranos and you know Deadwood and if I had my choice I would find away to be on those shows cause I like them."   • Eva La Rue (Natalia Boa Vista) attended the Center for Disease Control's "Learn the signs. Act early," event on Autism last May and her official website has pictures of it. Their recent update also includes the addition of the actress's new picture for her Caress campaign.

  • The websites Beyond Imagination and CSI Caps.com have screen caps available of the CSI episode "Pirates of the Third Reich."

  • The website JS Online says television these days is full of brainy characters, and they blame this on the creation of Gil Grissom in 2000. Since then, it seems every other character on television is an eccentric genius. "You can't click a channel these days without stumbling upon a brainy TV character. When it comes to solving problems, some serious noggin-straining is going on." The website says, however, that Grissom's obsession with work would probably make him a better neighbor than a boyfriend.

  • VH1.com currently has DMC's video of the song "Just Like Me" available to download. The video features CSI's Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown).

  • CSI has young people all over the country wishing for a life behind a microscope like Grissom. But D.P. Lyle, a physician and author of "Forensic for Dummies," has some advice for CSI wannabes. "It is a fascinating, growing field with a lot of opportunities, but it is not glamorous like CSI,'" he said. "If you want to wear Guccis and stroll down the street looking cool, this is not the field for you."

  • CSI used to be one of TiVos most recorded shows, but the show recently dropped to number 4 as Survivor moved up a couple of spaces. Now CSI is the 4th most recorded show, while CSI: Miami is at an impressive #8.

  • CBS just cancelled the new series Love Monkey, and has announced that in its old timeslot, Tuesdays at 10pm, it'll show reruns of CSI and NCIS until the newly picked series The Unit premieres on March 7th. This new show revolves around special-forces soldiers and their families.

  • The city of Cleveland has received a brand new CSI facility. Said Sheriff Dan Gilley, "We had a vision that someday we would be able to do some of the toxicology testing and fingerprint processing here, locally, that forever we've been dependent on other agencies, state and federal agencies, basically, to do for us."

  • Apparently, a CSI inspired "cheaters kit" is now available to the public. The kid helps people figure out of their spouses of significant others are cheating on them, and costs around 80 bucks.

  • Joshua Cunningham, who played a corpse on CSI and had a small cameo in Love, Inc., said in an interview that since getting those two small roles, he's been getting more attention from the ladies back in his hometown of Dubois, Pennsylvania.

  • Kimberlianne Podlas, an attorney and assistant professor of media law and ethics at UNCG, won an award for her research on The CSI: Effect. Her research found that CSI are no more influenced by CSI factors than are non-frequent viewers. Her paper, "The CSI Effect: Exposing the Media Myth," will be published this month.

  • The British website Digital Spy has some information about when episode of the 6th season of CSI will be shown on the network Living TV.

  • Forensic Entomologist and real-life Gil Grissom Dr. Lee Goff has put together a traveling bug exhibit to teach children more about forensic entomology. "When you combine insects with the crime," he said, "then it becomes something very compelling."
